The Oinochoe Jug is made of copper alloy, cast in the shape of a clover leaf with an ornate image of Bacchus (the Greek god of wine and the vine) and a lion. The jug originated from zone under the influence of Greco-Roman culture and was used in ceremonies for the washing of hands.
